i know this probably won’t happen, but i hope that colm wilkinson sings a part of “bring him home” as the bishop in the movie. when he saves valjean is walking away after the bishop saves him, he could sing the first verse of “bring him home” as a prayer to god to bring valjean home.

j. mark mcvey’s version of “bring him home” can bring a room to tears.
i don’t like ‘bring him home’.
my favorite part of the new orchestrations is the transition from the beautiful instrumental reprise of “bring him home” to “the sewers.” the mood whiplash hurts so good.
the pitch change during the valjean quartet should be in every version of “bring him home” from now on.
i can no longer listen to colm wilkinson sing “bring him home”.
